Registration
Auditions will be held in May and June for the Fall 2012 Semester.
We are currently registering for Summer Strings! Registrations due April 1st.
***Registration Deposit Policy***
Stringendo's tuition deposit policy is in effect as follows:
- A $75 deposit will be collected before your orchestra or SHF audition
- If your audition is canceled 24 hours before your time slot, you are entitled to a full refund.
- If you inform Stringendo by 4 weeks prior to the start of classes that you wish to withdraw, we will refund $50 of your deposit.
- If you inform Stringendo by 7 days prior to the start of classes that you wish to withdraw, we will refund $25 of your deposit.
- If your decision is based on placement, please schedule an audition in May, June, or early August so you will have ample time to decide and receive your $25 refund.
- Current students re-auditioning for placement in the spring semester will be assessed a $25 audition fee.
Orchestra
All students must audition for placement. To schedule an audition, please email or call 845-264-1206. Please come prepared with a solo of your choice and expect to sight-read. Mail a registration deposit ($75) to: Stringendo, 9 Vassar St., Suite #32, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
Openings are available for new students at the start of the fall (auditions held in May, June and August) and spring (late December) semesters. Audition fee is $75.
Strawberry Hill Fiddlers
All new students must audition for placement. Email or call for an audition. Openings are available for new students at the start of the fall (late August) and for some groups, spring (early January) semesters. To register, send form and deposit by April 1 deadline. Forms are available online below.

A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available for all programs. Please submit a completed financial aid application by the deadline indicated for that particular program. Late or incomplete financial aid applications cannot be considered.
